Yamaha SY85 Synthesizer with Gotek

Selling a Yamaha SY85 Workstation from 1992. This was Yamaha's answer to the Korg 01/W and Roland JV synths. It's an excellent synth with some great features for its time. It has a high quality keybed, making for a great choice as a master keyboard.

The synth is in superb condition for its age, with only some minor scuffs here and there. It's been very well looked after. Everything is working perfectly. Display is nice and bright, all keys work, and the aftertouch is very responsive The front panel buttons, sliders, and rotary encoder all work well.

The floppy drive one these tend to go bad and are non-standard, so they can be difficult to replace. This one has been fitted with a Gotek drive using a special custom-made adapter, allowing a USB stick to be used instead of old dodgy floppy disks.
