Casio CZ 5000

Casio CZ 5000 Casio CZ 5000 Keyboards and Synthesizers

Bought it on here just like as seen with a couple of broken pitch controls, and albeit there is a slight bit of noise it works fairly well otherwise.
Legendary Japanese digital synth from 1985, can sound like an Obx with a bit of quick programming. Low price for quick sale.

Hi folks, sorry about the delayed response on this, just brought it back from the studio space and gave it a good clean with contact cleaner (deoxit, magical stuff), there's barely any noise now. Most old synths have some little bit of noise so it's nothing unusual, usually just a bit of dust under the hood. Pitch wheel is the only issue but I reckon if you screwed off the top you might be able to get it back in place. If I get a bit of time I might do this but I'd probably try sell it for more if I got it back working so I'll leave the price as is for now.

Yes, all factory sounds are working too.

Hey bud. Is the noise on the pitch wheels or just on the audio in general?

All factory presets still working? Is the pitch and mod bend sending the sound wandering also👍 great piece

@Cvwaveshaper1 pictures added of pitch wheels under the hood of the unit

@Cvwaveshaper1 pitch wheels took a knock but are just under the hood of the unit, very salvageable for anyone to lift the hood and repair it. I think they're still connected to the motherboard. I just don't have the time at the moment.

Whats the craic with the wheels? Have they just been completely removed?
