The important addition here is the rare Beatnic CMU800-MIDI interface, which makes the CMU-800 considerably easier to integrate into a modern MIDI studio.
The CMU-800 provides its original melody, bass, chord and rhythm sections together with multiple CV/Gate outputs.
Cosmetic wear and small marks consistent with age are visible in the photos.
Japanese-market version, so appropriate voltage conversion should be used for Ireland/EU.
Very unusual piece of early Roland/AMDEK computer-music history, especially with the Beatnic MIDI interface.
