Chartered Physiotherapist
Griffin Physiotherapy Limited is looking for a Chartered Physiotherapist to join our team providing physiotherapy services across long-term care units and nursing homes in County Galway.
This is a part-time role — 2 days per week — with genuine scope to grow hours as our service expands. Ideal for a physiotherapist seeking rewarding, autonomous part-time work in a varied and meaningful clinical setting.
The Role
- 2 days/week (14 hrs) — rolling annual contract, scope to increase hours
- Competitive wage depending on experience
- Employer pension contribution + full statutory entitlements
- Mileage reimbursed at Revenue Civil Service rates (tax-free)
- 4-month trial period
What You'll Do
- Your caseload will be focused on long-term care residents and will include:
- Balance and falls prevention programmes
- Strength, mobility, and functional rehabilitation
- Positioning, seating, and contracture management
- Multidisciplinary team involvement and onward referrals
- Person-centred care planning and resident reviews
What We're Looking For
- CORU-registered Chartered Physiotherapist (all experience levels welcome)
- Interest in older adult and long-term care physiotherapy
- Full driving licence and own vehicle
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Desirable - Irish language skills an advantage
