Job Description

Our Client is a global leading manufacturer of Ultra-High Purity & Performance Valves to advanced manufacturing industries including the semiconductor, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and energy markets.

The company is currently seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to support the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales growth, business development, key account management and market development activities across existing and new markets. Reporting to the Technology & Development Director, the role will work closely with the wider leadership team to identify commercial opportunities and support the delivery of the company's strategic objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Leadership
Support the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy
Provide market intelligence and commercial insight
Contribute to strategic planning activities
Provide commercial insight to support strategic decision-making

Revenue Growth & Performance
Own and deliver sales revenue and margin targets
Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline
Drive profitable growth across all markets and product lines

Market Development
Identify and develop new markets, sectors, and opportunities
Create and maintain a product-market strategy aligned with operational capability
Lead market expansion initiatives and key account development

Cross-Functional Alignment
Work closely with:
Operations (capacity & delivery alignment)
Finance (margin, pricing, forecasting)
Supply Chain (availability & logistics)
Ensure commercial commitments are aligned with operational capability

Data & Insights
Analyse:
Market trends
Customer behaviour
Product performance
Translate insights into actionable commercial strategies

Group & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a commercial liaison with the Fujikin Group in collaboration with the Technology & Development Director
Provide regular reporting on sales performance and forecasts
Align local commercial strategy with group objectives

Leadership & Team Development
Lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability structures
Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Financial Planning & Governance
Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts
Support pricing strategy and margin optimisation
Ensure robust reporting and forecasting processes

Education & Experience
• Degree level or higher qualification in business, marketing, economics or demonstratable discipline
