Overall Role Objective
The O&M Controller is responsible for producing high quality O&M Manuals that adhere to all relevant standard operating procedures. They assist in the overall project planning, detailed design development and coordination between all disciplines, managing and adhering to office/client CAD standards.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Produce Operation & Maintenance manuals and As Built drawings to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant standard operating procedures.
Interpret working drawings and convert site mark-ups to As Built drawings using AutoCAD.
Carry out all instructions received from Project Engineers.
Ensure CAD standards are adhered to and drawings are produced to the highest quality and in accordance with QA procedures.
Coordinate documentation and drawings with project teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
Issue drawings and documents as required by the programme, following document controls procedures.
Produce/co-ordinate working drawings for the sites.
Ensure the various prints of drawings, schedules and specifications are kept up to date and maintained for record purposes as described in the document control section of QA procedures.
Keep up to date on any new development in technology and changes in the AutoCAD software.
Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by your Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.
Qualifications / Skills
Building Services Engineering experience or experience working in a similar role.
Proficiency in the use of 2D AutoCAD.
Capable of working within demanding time frames.
Attention to detail is essential.
Ability to interpret working drawings.
Ability to adhere to strict QA procedures.
A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
