Shell Cameo
New old stock, loose carved shell cameo. This piece comes in its original box which it would have been shipped to the jewellers in for mounting.
Circa 1950-60’s and in mint original condition.
Lovely relief carving of St. Christopher holding a child aloft while carrying him across the water. St. Christopher is also the patron saint of travellers.
This lovely detailed unmounted cameo measures 26x29mm in diameter & is sure to be a nice specimen for cameo collectors.
