Antique Victorian 9ct gold Guard chain
Guard chains were at the height of popularity in the 18th & 19th Century. Both fashionable and practical, they were deliberately long enough to be tucked into a belt and the clasp was usually adorned with a pocket watch, lorgnette or muff. Full length 160 cm, weight 37.7g, stamped 9carat and makers name . Age Victorian 1880-1900. Great condition
