A gorgeous authentic German Art Deco expanding snake bracelet by the renowned jewelry house Andreas Daub (Pforzheim). This bypass serpent design features a beautifully detailed, textured scale pattern on the outer band and is crowned with a large, vibrant, oval-faceted purple amethyst paste gemstone.

• Markings: Clearly stamped on the reverse with the Andreas Daub maker's mark "A*D" and "ROLLED GOLD".

• Condition: Very good vintage condition with excellent spring mechanism tension. The purple paste stone is securely set. There is minor, honest age-related plating wear to the smooth gold on the underside tip and inner links (see photos), which does not affect the stunning appearance when worn.
