Barbour A60 Longshoreman smock
The Barbour Longshoreman is a rare, iconic waxed cotton pullover smock originally designed for dockworkers and fishermen to withstand harsh coastal weather. Active in the 1980s and 1990s, it featured heavy-duty wax, a long cut, integrated hood, and large pockets, acting as a durable, waterproof barrier for, or against, the elements.
Known as a "fisherman’s smock”,It is a pullove-style garment with no zipper, featuring a high quality heavy-duty waxed cotton, an integrated hood, large storage pockets and often a D-ring to one side.
Originally dating back to the 1950s, this is one of the most sought-after vintage models (A60 Longshoreman) are from the 1990 with three-crest labels.
The Longshoreman was not produced in high numbers compared to other jackets ,making them rare collector's items.
It is widely considered one of the best and most distinctive designs from the Barbour archive.

As a guide I am a Medium to Large and this still fits me perfectly.
I bought it from new in 1997 in Ireland and have ever only used it for leisure purposes . That is to say…. It hasn’t gone fishing.
In saying that, it does have two small or light color tarnishes and a small tear in the hood ( see photos).
