iMac parts

Am selling various parts for a 2009 iMac.

Basically, I have gutted this iMac and am in the process of turning it into an LCD display for another computer.

All parts were functioning properly when I removed them and I did a careful job taking them out, but obviously I make no guarantees about whether they will work in your machine.

I have no interest in making much money off these parts, I would rather just see that someone else gets use out of them. We would agree a price, but it will definitely be the low side, low enough for you to take a chance and see if you can get your old iMac back up to full working order. I would also accept swaps if you had something you think would be a fair trade for the part you want.

Perhaps some of these parts could be useful for other projects as well, I don't know.

This particular iMac had the following specs:

- 2.66GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor
- 8GB of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
- ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR3 memory
- All other specs common to 27 inch iMacs at the time.

I am not going to list every part that is available. It is essentially everything but the body, LCD speakers, webcam + mic.

If you are trying to fix your old iMac, it's likely you already know what specific parts you need.

Therefore, you could simply ask me what specific parts you would like (big or small) and I can check if I have it.

Collection would be Dublin City centre or Bray, possibly somewhere else too if we could work it out in a way that suited us both. I could deliver also, and would simply charge whatever it actually costs to send the part in question.
