Hi, Galway wore short sleeve jerseys in the finals of 87, 88 and 89 lad. Also had the match details on the jersey and three lines not two. I unfortunately think whoever told you this is from the ‘87 final wasn’t being very honest. Beautiful jersey all the same.

Back in those days only 21 on a match day panel. Have a digital version of the programme in front of me. Plus they wore short sleeve and there was a commemorative logo on the jersey front. Looks like a league jersey from that era
