This is a vintage Philips D7182 portable radio cassette recorder, a solid example of 1980s personal audio. The unit features a 3-band integrated tuner covering FM, Medium Wave, and Long Wave frequencies, along with a top-loading cassette deck that includes one-touch recording and a full auto-stop mechanism. It has been tested and works perfectly when powered by the included mains lead, though please note it is currently not functioning on battery power. Cosmetically, it shows some characteristic age-related wear, particularly around the speaker grille frame as shown in the photos, but it remains a functional piece of retro tech ideal for a workshop, kitchen, or vintage audio collection.
