Vintage Ferguson Radio LW, VHF (FM), MW.

From mid 60’s, Very good condition for the age.
Works well, really big decent sound.

Tone controls for bass and treble.

I’m not sure of the model name/number, none on it. It’s about 38cms long , 19cms high.

Battery or mains, both work. Zero corrosion on battery contacts. I’ve just sprayed all switches and pots so no crackling. Aerial is perfect.

@Irishrev Tis a tempting offer. However my 1400 has a bad speaker (tho usable) and some minor issues and some switches broken. I do have other radios , speakers , hifi tho could possibly trade. Any interest in the radios in my other ad ? I’ve another old original Bush TR82 also.

I would take the sorted 1400 plus this Ferguson plus a bit more cash for the 2400! It has a few bits to be done to make it perfect!

@Irishrev hi, just plugged it in to check for you. getting BBC on MW and LW 198 BBC radio 4 / world service no problem. FM goes to around 105-106, I never noticed :)

Does the FM dial go to 108? Can't see on photo. Receiving on all bands? (I know LW/MW only as night)
