Tube Amp - RS DreamAmp

The RS DreamAmp is a tube amplifier project based on four 7189 tubes (~EL84 equivalent) in a Push-Pull configuration designed by the audio enthusiast channel "Reduktor Szumu" (Noise Reducer).

Tube Configuration
Power Output Stage:
* Four 7189 tubes in Push-Pull configuration
* The 7189 is an extended-ratings version of the EL84 power pentode, designed for more demanding applications

Preamp/Input Stage:
* ECC83 (12AX7 - PSvane art II) - High-gain triode for preamplification
* 6AN8 (Sylvania)- Triode/Pentode combination tube used in the input selector stage

Specifications
Power Output: Approximately 27W RMS in stereo (push-pull configuration at 8Ω load)
Configuration: Class AB, Push-Pull with feedback loop (FB) in cathode configuration
Output Impedance: 6.2 kΩ (plate-to-plate), compatible with 8Ω and 16Ω speakers

Power Supply:
* Toroidal power transformer (approximately 80VA)
* Heater supply: 6.3V CT for tube filaments
* High-voltage supply rails for output tubes
Design Philosophy
The RS DreamAmp uses EL84-class tubes in an optimized configuration, representing one of the favorite designs for vintage audio applications with excellent musical characteristics vinyl The project emphasizes clean amplification with low noise characteristics, reflecting philosophy of high-fidelity audio.
