STD 305M in beautiful condition

This is a high-quality, Scottish-made vintage suspended sub-chassis belt-drive turntable from the late 1970s

In synopsis:

* Design & Engineering: It was designed as a serious, premium competitor to the Linn LP12, featuring a 3-point sprung suspension system with a sub-chassis.

* Drive System: Primarily uses a synchronous AC motor or a DC servo motor, often utilizing a belt-drive system with a smaller sub-platter.

* Performance: Known for being a "tuneful" and underrated deck, often providing performance comparable to other high-end, vintage British turntables.

* Aesthetics: Known for its distinctive, contemporary look with brushed aluminum cladding.

She comes complete with a Rega RB 250 tonearm, which is re-wired with Cardas Litz cable and tags. It is also upgraded with a dedicated separate earth wire and an Isokinetik stub and counter weight. The Sumiko Pearl cartridge is barely run in.

Bass board has been fitted with three stainless steel leveling spikes.

Dust cover is in truly excellent condition, its tint is a marvellous contrast to the brushed aluminium. The hinges are also in great condition.

The STD 305M also has a relatively new belt and the baring has been lubricated with SRM baring oil.
