This is a true Sony classic. It may show a few signs of age on the outside, but inside it is still a fantastic music player capable of delivering the warm, beautiful sound that made Sony famous. Just like many of us, time may leave a few marks on the outside, but what's inside is what really matters.

Every maintenance detail is shown in the photos. I believe you'll struggle to find another seller who pays this much attention to every single machine. I restore every player as if I were keeping it for myself.

1. Motor cleaned and lubricated for stable playback speed.
2. Playback head cleaned and serviced for excellent stereo sound.
3. Circuit board inspected and in excellent condition.
4. Speed calibrated using a professional 3 kHz calibration tape to ensure accurate playback speed. This is one of the most important parts of restoring a vintage cassette player. A machine running at the wrong speed can completely ruin your listening experience.
5. Powered by 2 AA batteries, which are inexpensive and easy to find anywhere.
6. Smooth, rounded design that feels comfortable in the hand.

Sony's sound never disappoints. Vocals are rich, natural, and emotional, making this Walkman a pleasure to listen to.
