This player has been fully serviced and carefully looked after. Every part has been cleaned and maintained properly, right down to the smallest details.
1. Motor fully lubricated and serviced, with a metal flywheel for smooth and stable tape movement.
2. Playback speed can be adjusted continuously, so you can fine-tune the speed and no longer have to put up with tapes playing too fast or too slow.
3. Recording function fully tested, including the recording pause switch. Recording is clear and works exactly as it should.
4. Built-in speaker for playback, so you can enjoy your tapes without headphones. Perfect for bringing along to the park or sitting out on the grass on a summer day.

So, where can you find a cassette player that you can genuinely feel confident about?
With vintage cassette players this old, simply saying “it works” doesn't really mean much. Without proper servicing and careful maintenance, you won't get the kind of listening experience these machines are capable of.

Since the recorder has mono output, when a stereo headphone is fully inserted, sound only comes from the left side. This is not a fault of the cassette player — it's simply how AIWA designed these mono models. By slightly pulling out the headphone plug (halfway), audio can be heard from both sides of the headphones.
