A powerful and elegant machine from Sansui’s mid-70s heyday, the 8080DB delivers real analogue warmth and serious performance. If you want a solid piece of hi-fi history that sounds as good as it looks (almost), this is it.

This unit has been professionally serviced, cleaned inside and out, and fully tested. All functions work smoothly—tuner, meters, tone controls, speaker switching, the whole works. A few minor light blemishes elsewhere, but nothing that affects sound or usability.

The cabinet is the original from the first owner, which gives it real character. It does have some imperfections (light scratches, small chips) consistent with age. I’m happy to offer a replacement cabinet at additional cost if you want it looking nearly perfect.

With 85 watts per channel into 8 ohms, this receiver has more than enough muscle to drive a wide variety of speakers to satisfying levels. Whether you want smooth realism, dynamic punch, or classic stage presence, the 8080DB delivers.
