ReVox A77 Mk1 Tape Recorder (2 Track)

This is a suitcase version of the A77 with inbuilt stereo amplifiers and dual range stereo speakers.
I
t is a 2 track machine so it has a better
signal-to-noise ratio than a 4 track machine. (approx. 3–4 dB quieter, ~66–67 dB at 7.5 ips)

It is missing the original suitcase lid but looks good with the perspex cover.

The Mk1 dates from 1968 and shows some signs of it's age, a few scratches and chips/cracks in the case and in the perspex cover.

It has been set up using professional test tapes and calibrated to RTM SM911 tape.
Performance is very good and it sounds great.
