After selecting the midwoofer drivers, it was necessary to choose an appropriate tweeter section, and here the choice was obvious – the beryllium Bliesma T34B with waveguide – a solution borrowed directly from the Majesty loudspeakers.

The cabinet is already a classic NORD design: the sides finished with an attractive, patterned veneer, while the remaining panels are oak veneer. Bass reflex design with the port directed downward into the floor. In the case of Purifi drivers from the W series, there was no need to employ passive membranes, since the conventional bass reflex port proved to work excellently while also providing greater efficiency of the overall system. Given the limited bass extension of the W series drivers, this was a particularly advantageous decision.

During filter design, we paid particular attention to flatness of response both on-axis and across a wide range of angles. This guarantees neutral, even tonality. Perhaps somewhat restrained, less expressive in certain passages, but in exchange universal and reliable in every situation.

The NORD 25 Pure performs in a manner that is difficult to question. It handles every type of audio material superbly, with absolutely no weak points. It always plays smoothly, cleanly, and very pleasantly. True, there are moments when another loudspeaker may sound somewhat more interesting in a particular passage, but the strength of the NORD 25 Pure is that for the vast majority of the time it simply plays better. More cleanly, more evenly, more clearly, and completely effortlessly.

What about the bass? After all, we employed the W series, which was supposed to have more limited capabilities in this regard. And indeed — it does not offer the deep bass extension of the X series. But despite that, it performs very well. Compared to the customer's previous system, based on the 22-centimeter Revelator, the NORD 25 Pure performed better in this respect as well.
