@d0min0s Hi. Amplifier was cleaned , new relay switch all caps new except 4 big filter capacitors they was checked and still ok. Adjusted bias and VU meters. New heatsink paste.

Hi, could you tell me exactly what service has been carried out on the Nikko Alpha II? I can see the internal service/measurements in the photos. Have the electrolytic capacitors, relay and bias/DC offset been checked or replaced? Also, are both channels tested at full power into 8 ohms?

Oh okay.
Well it's 300km round trip to Kildare?, so I need to consider when I will have time to do that and the additional cost of diesel and tolls.
€300 was already top of my budget.

I do really want this pre amp though as it opens up a world of amplifier possibilities for me.

I also read through the manual and really like the way they designed the 4 way EQ.
Ideal for me as I quite often listen to records with low production values (8 track, recorded I'm someone's garage) and having some manual control of tone is very desirable 😅.

Hi,

I'm kind of keen on this.
In particular the pre amplifier.

You buy repair higi equipment.
Can you tell me a bit more about these pieces in terms of their condition and repairs/servicing done.

Also, am I right to assume the 3 Din inputs (tape 1 & 2 and Tuner) are standard like level and can be used with:

* CD Player
* Project Phone pre amp
* Streamer

With the appropriate RCA to DIN adapter cables naturally.
