Minidisc - TDK XS-iV [eksesiv]

A pair of TDK XS-iV [eksésiv] 74 minute discs produced in two slightly different variants. The difference being in the metal shutter. A run of discs produced with a silver shutter mechanism the other with a black shutter mechanism.

The black shutter being the more available of the two variants.

An 80 minute variant of this particular disc was also produced with the same shutter colourway.

Images 6 & 7 show the actual disc itself.

Each disc sealed and in new condition.

Part of the now harder to find XS-iV range of discs.

Within this range also sits the 'Design Line' range which was released between 1999 and 2001 in limited numbers exclusively for the European market. However, a lot of discs made their way to North America, Asia and Australasia etc. The nine discs in the range include:

Released - 120,000 units.

The largest volume being 'Ministry of Sound' equates to
the population size of Leicester approximately. Bearing in mind the volumes above involve full European distribution.
