I purchased these used on eBay from Germany in September 2026 as an upgrade from my Polk Audio RC60i speakers. I was hoping the larger 8-inch bass driver and dual tweeters would deliver more authority and impact from my overhead channels.

After testing them, I realised that the limitation was more likely due to my ceiling setup rather than the speakers themselves. I have therefore decided to upgrade to bookshelf speakers installed within the ceiling instead.

These Magnat speakers feature a large 8-inch woofer and two tweeters, offering an impressive specification for in-ceiling speakers.
