I used different amplifiers, recievers and tube amps, so mostly with fisher x101 and fisher x202, but tried with quad 405/pm 34 also different pioneer amps, Mcintosh MC225 pm audio research SP11, anything and everything, but the best sound was always with lower wattage tube amps range from 10-30 WPC, as they are very efficient speakers, they don’t need much power at all, you can drive them with little headphone amps and another thing, that is very important, is room size!!! Bigger better and position, all those little things, they sound incredible, anyway hope that answers your question, if you want, send me for PM and we can chat over the phone, thanks
