Ion Vinyl Record Deck with Analog and USB outputs
This is an “Ion Classic LP” vinyl record deck which has both an analog output and also a USB output for connection to a PC or MAC computer. The deck can be used as a conventional deck when connected to an amplifier and speakers. In addition by connecting the deck to a PC, it can also be used to convert LPs to a digital format. The deck supports speeds of 33, 45 and 78 RPM.
I have checked the unit and it is working well as an analog deck and when connected to a PC.
The deck comes with the original instructions, software/driver disk, external power supply and a suitable USB lead. The software is compatible with Windows XP and Windows 7 according to the manual, but I have also installed and used it successfully under Windows 10.
I do not listen to vinyl LPs anymore, so this deck is not in use. Hopefully this deck will be of use to someone else as a standalone record deck and as a means to convert LPs to digital form.
Note: If using the analog output, this deck must be connected to an amplifier and speakers. The output from this deck is at line level, so it should be connected to a line level input on the amplifier, eg a CD, FM or Tape input and not the phono input on the amplifier.
