EAD T-1000 Audiophile CD Transport

The T-1000 is based on the excellent Pioneer Stable Platter transport that was used on such players as the PD-65 including some of the more upscale players including Wadia.
This transport supports the entire disc (not just the center) and requires that the disc be inserted upside down. Some of the player's outstanding features include:
1. Extremely Low Jitter Design- EAD re-clocks the digital output to improve the Pioneer's jitter performance
2. Virtually no RF noise- EAD uses an "ultra-low capacitance, high bandwidth output transformer" on the coaxial digital output. According to EAD this eliminates any RF noise that might contaminate the digital output
3. Matched 75 ohm impedance- Due the the output transformer on the coaxial output, a precise 75-ohm impedance is maintained for better data transfer to the DAC. AT&T ST Glass Fiber output- Like a high end data switch, the T-1000 features an ST Glass fiber output for the best possible connection to the DAC.
