Castle Harlech S1 Speakers - Like New !

Great pair of original Castle Harlech S1 speakers.

Finished in real red mahogany veneer with carbon fibre woofers!
They deliver an incredible, warm British sound, with extra air and a massive soundstage thanks to the upward-firing woofer on the top of the cabinet.

The speakers were professionally restored and serviced in January 2026 by the well-known specialist Michael (Mastore_Mastore). Original confirmation and pictures of the restoration process are available to view.

These speakers sound significantly better than new ones in shops for €2000!

Any tests/auditions are very welcome

Hi Gents,

I used AI to remove the background from the image because it was a bit messy. Apologies for any confusion, the woofer is up there.

These are 2 original speakers, purchased from the first owner who had them for 25 years. I have pictures of them before the woofers were replaced, as well as images from Mastore_Mastore to prove the work that has been carried out on them.

They sound great now; considering their sound quality, they are definitely worth more than just €600.

Looks like no bass on one alright, they both should have top bass, sold a pair for a fraction of this price recently. Ferrofluid replaced and all.

Sorry, just a random weird question, is the top bass unit only on one speaker? (a close up view of one of the cabinets doesnt seem to have it).
