The Audiophonics MPA-S125NC incorporates a Hypex Ncore NC122MP power amplifier module.


This is a solid base to build a powerful stereo HiFi system, capable of delivering 2x75W under 8Ω.
On a single double-sided PCB it is composed of a low power supply for standby, a high-performance switching power supply but above all an extremely efficient Class D amplifier circuit.


The amplifier used on this NC122MP module offers a high efficiency of 92% and allows it to be used for very different uses, whether for studio use or to be integrated into a high fidelity audio system.


The distinctive characteristics of this amplifier are its linear frequency response whatever the load impedance and consequently its accurate restitution, its very low distortion but also its very low EMI radiation rate.
The control of the amplifier is based on a self-oscillating loop with phase shift, taking into account the feedback only at the output of the loudspeaker, always with sound transparency in mind.


The main SMPS power supply to the amplifier is a regulated, high power, high efficiency half bridge converter with synchronous rectification on the main output rails. An ideal power supply to provide this Class D amplifier with the power it needs.
