a pair of hi quality vintage speakers that came from an estate of a serious collector.

Acoustic Research AR-58LS vintage 3-way passive loudspeaker system introduced in the early 1980s as part of AR's LS (Launched Series / Floorstanding/Bookshelf line). It features a 12-inch woofer, a midrange driver, and a high-frequency dome tweeter in a sealed wooden enclosure.

Both have fome Rot but are tested ok for sound and resistance.
Foam replacement kits can be sourced on eBay for around $25.
The wooden cabinet tops will also benefit from a rub down and French polish.
These speakers were highly desirable when released in the early 80s.
And when repaired will command £300 upwards.
