1980s Crown CSC 646L Boombox / Ghettoblaster Radio Working

Selling a classic, Japanese-made Crown CSC-646L Stereo Radiorecorder from the 1980s.

This is a brilliant retro piece, perfect as a vintage display item, a restoration project, or a cool radio for a garage, workshop, or kitchen.

Radio Works Perfectly: Tunes in easily and plays audio loud and crystal clear. Super sound out of it 🔊

Pristine Battery Compartment: Zero battery acid leaks or corrosion. The internal spring contacts are completely clean and straight.

Intact Battery Door: Comes with the original rear battery compartment cover (which is usually missing on these).

Cosmetics: Overall the plastic casing, handle, and front knobs/sliders are in good vintage shape.

No Antenna: The original telescopic metal antenna is missing. (It still picks up strong local radio signals without it).

Cassette Player Not Working: The tape deck does not spin. This is incredibly common for its age and almost certainly just means the original rubber drive belts have perished over the last 40 years and need replacing.
