Garmin etrex GPS for boating, sailing, hiking, fishing, camping.
Ultra reliable, fast and accurate basic compact GPS in excellent condition. Supplied with its own pouch.
This unit remains popular for simple reasons: It's small, robust, simple and is good at acquiring and retaining satellite signal.
You can load waypoints or routes using free Garmin software and seperate cable. You can also enter waypoints manually or mark the location you are in as a waypoint. It has a time adjustable backlight.
I used it mainly on land to track routes or record waypoints to allow me to safely navigate my return. It was invaluable in poor reception areas when it was the only device able to pick up signal.
Google/ You Tube the various reviews to see how well rated it is.
