Reevu MSX1 Rear-View Motorcycle Helmet. Matt Black, Mint, Unused. Rare

Exceptional unused example of the innovative reevu msx1 rear-view motorcycle helmet in matt black.

I’m always open to a good offer. If you like this piece and don’t ask - you’ll never know!

This helmet is in mint, unused condition and is a particularly unusual piece of motorcycle technology that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition.

The msx1 was the world’s first production motorcycle helmet to incorporate reevu’s patented integrated optical rear-view system.

Unlike modern camera-based systems, the reevu requires no camera, battery, electronics or charging. A sophisticated series of reflective polycarbonate elements channels the view from the rear of the helmet to an adjustable display positioned above the rider’s normal forward field of vision – effectively giving the rider a rear-view mirror inside the helmet.

Features include:

• patented reevu optical rear-view system
• matt black finish
• mint / unused condition
• tri-composite advanced fibre shell incorporating carbon/kevlar/fibreglass materials
• ece 22. 05 specification
• acu gold specification
• anti-fog / anti-scratch visor
• adjustable internal rear-view display
• removable and washable interior
• integrated ventilation system
• approximately 1. 6kg
• no batteries or electronics required

The msx1 was an extremely ambitious helmet design and received considerable attention internationally when introduced. The optical system took many years of development and remains a fascinating piece of motorcycle engineering.

These are now increasingly difficult to find, particularly unused examples in this condition.

Ideal for a motorcycle enthusiast, reevu collector, motorsport memorabilia collection or collector of unusual automotive technology.
