Rotobed electric rotating bed

A Rotobed electric adjustable rotating bed which was purchased 4 years ago for €14,000 and only received 3 years of light use. It is in perfect condition and comes with a battery pack (see photo) in case of a power cut. The mattress alone cost €1,000 and the bed is unbelievably comfortable.

You will see from the photos that the bed rotates enabling the occupant to get in and out of bed easily if they have mobility issues. It goes from a lying position into a sitting position in less than a minute but unfortunately Adverts won’t allow me to upload videos of it in action. I am happy to do a demonstration of it working to anyone interested. The bed rotates the occupant to the left side of the bed.

The bed measures 2.3 x 0.95 metres overall but will need a little clearance (about a foot) on either side for the mattress to rotate. Mattress itself measures 2.1 x 0.88 metres so will accommodate any size individual up to 200kgs in weight.

The bed is height adjustable offering a good work posture for care givers, as well as having height adjustable back, lower leg section and foot pad for comfort.

Unfortunately this is now in the house as a ‘spare bed’ and I would like it to go to a home where it would benefit someone who has need of it.

It is very well constructed and extremely heavy at I think 235kgs (being made of tubular steel) when fully assembled, so will need to be disassembled and transported in a small van or trailer. I am happy to give you a hand with taking it apart and reconstructing it as I already had to do so to move it into another room.
