I offer a variety of treatments, always tailored to individual needs after discussing goals and expectations. I work intuitively, tracing your energy, in combination with information gathered during consultation.

Your comfort and dignity are my priority.

I do not offer sport's massage or deep tissue for injuries/rehabilitation.

Lomi Lomi Nui

This traditional ancient Hawaiian massage focuses on relaxing both the physical and energetic body, clearing energetic blockages which are often the source of physical and emotional ailments. It is a nurturing, soothing, healing experience. This practice uses the hands and forearms for long, continuous, rhythmic strokes to encourage the flow of energy throughout the body in combination with breath.

Aromatherapy

A blend of essential oils derived from plants to improve physical and emotional well-being are used. Oils have been used for their health benefits (physiological and psychological) for centuries.

They are readily absorbed by the skin and effective through inhalation to promote positive health.

I use intuitive blending, taking into account your needs, personal preferences and medical history, thereby creating a bespoke and personalised blend - your attraction to scents will dictate your blend. Often you will be naturally drawn to the oils which offer the effects needed.

Warm Bamboo Massage

Bamboo massage originates in Southeast Asia. Therapists have been using heated bamboo sticks for centuries to treat muscle tension and pain by applying pressure with reeds of differing sizes and thickness.

I use heated bamboo sticks in combination with manual massage to enhance its effects: heat and massage combined warms and softens the muscles, usually resulting in deep relaxation while soothing aching muscles. It further improves circulation thereby helping eliminate toxins and waste. It encourages the flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body.

Dry Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Cups are placed on the skin to create suction. It is the art of "creating space" between the surface of the body and deep tissue layers to allow blood, lymph and Qi (energy) to flow freely.

I use cups in combination with massage to enhance its effects: drawing deeply held congestion from soft tissue, meridians, organs and facilitating its dispersal thereby relieving tension, dispersing lactic acid, relieving pain and oedema while aiding circulation and boosting the immune system.

Back/Shoulder/Neck/Head Massage

Massage of the back and shoulders, including arms, neck and scalp/face to relieve tension. This treatment will always be tailored to your needs and emphasis placed on the areas you wish to treat.

Treatment for aches and pains in back, shoulders and neck as well as for headaches. This massage helps improve physical, mental and emotional health.
