Toshiba 1TB SSHD 2.5" - Read Description

Selling a Toshiba 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive (SSHD) in the 2.5-inch form factor (Model: MQ01ABD100H).

This is a hybrid drive featuring a built-in 8GB SSD NAND flash cache paired with 1TB of mechanical storage, giving it significantly faster boot and loading speeds than a standard hard drive.

⚠️ IMPORTANT HEALTH STATUS NOTE:
• CrystalDiskInfo Status: Displays a yellow "Caution" warning.
• SMART Attributes: The warning is triggered by a Raw Value of 20 on the sector count attributes.
• Stability: I have thoroughly tested and verified that this raw value is completely stable at 20 and is not progressively climbing or degrading.

Drive has been successfully wiped via Quick Format. Please note a Full Format will hang/fail due to the SMART caution status, which is exactly why it's priced low for secondary/tinkering use only.

Because the raw value is locked and stable, this drive still has plenty of life left. However, due to the Caution warning, it is strictly recommended for secondary/non-critical storage, such as:
• A budget secondary drive for game storage (Steam/Epic libraries)
• A dedicated media/movie streaming drive
• Test benches, tinkering, or raspberry pi projects
• A cheap external backup expansion (enclosure not included)

Do not use this drive to store critical, unbacked-up operating system files or irreplaceable data.
