@benceguz that’s why you are looking on Adverts for Hard Drives. All Hard drives bought second hand come with inherit risk. That’s why they are a third of the price of new ones.

But it’s also they are very old with who knows how many hours and you have no SMART data for the drives could die on me in a month or two.

@benceguz @benceguz let’s put it this way… if you go on Amazon and try and buy a 2tb hard drive you’ll be handing over €140 at least. So I think €40 a drive for a secondhand drive is fairly reasonable.
