Vintage Stanley No 4 1/2 Wide Sole Smoothing Plane
A nice Stanley no 4 1/2 wide sole smoothing plane in excellent condition made in England. The body is very clean and the sole is perfectly flat. The knob and tote are made of beechwood and are in lovely condition. The iron is perfectly square, properly sharpened and ready to go.
The Stanley No 4 1/2 Planes are ideal for wide smoothing work and work that needs a little more strength without too much heft.
This particular Stanley no 4 1/2 Plane was manufactured in between the mid 1960's and 1970's
