A vintage blade to fit nos 4 and 5 Planes. In very good condition, the cutting edge is precision ground to 25 degrees, honed and stropped to proper sharpness. Part used but still has many years of service left.
A Stanley "Sweetheart" plane blade is a highly collectible and functional component of hand planes manufactured by Stanley Works between 1920 and 1935. The name comes from a distinct logo featuring a heart shape stamped with the letters "SW", which was introduced to honor long-time company president William Hart.
