No 414 Jack Plane by Sargent

A 14" Jack plane plane made in the USA in the 1930s in very good condition. The body is clean and flat, the adjusters all work perfectly. The East India Mahogany handles are original and in good shape. The blade is a Stanley Sweetheart, Its about half used but has at least 20 more years of regular use. I have sharpened and set it ready to use.

"Sweetheart" was a premium quality option offered by Stanley from 1915 until 1939 in honour of the company's chairman William Hart who died in 1914. These blades are considered the best ever produced by Stanley are are prized by both users and collectors.
