Carpenters Leg Vice Kit
This type of woodworkers vice has been used since the middle ages and will grip boards firmly and securely without damaging finished surfaces. I use it, fitted to my Nicholson bench, almost every day. Its easy to make and will fit to almost any bench. See the last pictures for other ways to use a leg vice.
I supply all the metal parts and the wooden parts can be sourced from any builders supplier. Vice opening , up to 9" (225mm). Depth of throat 8" (200mm).
