A Vintage Edward Preston 2509 Bullnose Plane

This is a very useful adjustable Edward Preston 2509 bullnose plane in great condition made in Birmingham in England. The body is made of cast iron, is clean and the sole is perfectly flat. There is a slight chip on the mouth of the plane, behind the iron, so at least it won't impact the performance of the plane what so ever. The iron has been properly sharpened ready to go to work. The adjusters are all in perfect working order.

This particular bullnose plane is considered a collectable and highly sought after among woodworking enthusiasts. It was manufactured between 1890's to 1900's.

This plane also features a removable nose for conversion to a chisel plane. Ideal to get into them awkward corners.
