A Vintage Carborundum Silicon Carbide 109 Combination Sharpening Stone
This is an old Carborundum Silicon Carbide No 109 combination Sharpening Stone in excellent condition. This sharpening stone was made in England by the Carborundum Company in Manchester. It is now perfectly flat and square.
The Carborundum Sharpening Stone has a fine and coarse grit and is perfect for sharpening various tools like chisels, irons and blades. These stones are very fast cutting when using a thin layer of oil.
