4 in 1 Vice Kit

This versatile kit of parts can be used to build four very different types of vices.( See pictures)
CARPENTERS LEG VICE.
The main vice on the front of a woodworkers bench. Very powerful with a large opening and throat depth.
TAIL VICE.
A smaller vice fitted to the end of a carpenters bench with an adjustable dog. In conjunction with a set of bench dogs, this can be used to clamp large wide boards to the bench top.
FREE STANDING LEG VICE.
A multipurpose vice for use with both wood and metalwork. Very stable but can be moved to wherever it is needed.
CHOPS VICE.
A 19th century vice design that is popular with restorers, musical instrument makers,and wood carvers. Powerful but the leather jaws prevent damage to finished or fragile items.
