The Ibanez Super Metal Mini crams all the character and distorted tones of the beloved SM9 into an enclosure barely half the size of the original.

Ibanez even intuitively found a way to preserve the five knob layout and port it across using 2 stacked knobs. The smaller size is not reflected in the tone. The flatter EQ response means there's no standard mid-hump like with Tube Screamers but the extensive controls allow for deeper tonal customisation so you can simply dial this in, if preferred.

There's plenty of gain on tap so this pedal will sound just as good as a clean boost as it will doing searing, thick high-gain distortion.
