This is the sort of fuzz you leave on max and control with the volume knob on your strat. I have many fuzz pedals and I am leaning more towards silicon these days but the germanium has a beautiful character when you get to know it, particularly for the bassy roar it has. Very musical. Put it as the first pedal in your chain as buffered pedals will affect the tone and response...

This is authentic so you have to run it with reverse polarity power. Most power supply bricks have one of these cables in the box with a red fitting. Don't mix pedals with different polarities because it won't work! Put the reverse polarity pedal on its own isolated line.
