The Triangle Muff is a faithful reissue of the original Version 1 (V1) Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi, which was first released in 1969.It got the nickname "Triangle" because its original three control knobs (Volume, Sustain, and Tone) were laid out in a triangular shape on the face of the pedal.The reissue, released by Electro-Harmonix (EHX), is a meticulously crafted replica of that late-60s circuit, known for producing thick, creamy, violin-like sustain and rich musical tone. While it retains the exact vintage DNA of the original, EHX thoughtfully housed it in a smaller, pedalboard-friendly chassis with a few modern upgrades:
