Marshall Vintage Modern Tube Amp 2266c

50 Watt 2 x 12 speakers. The vintage modern creates all the classic Marshall sounds, all modern hardware/electronics but responds as a vintage tube amp, think of the classic JCM 800 Head used by Slash and others, same tone but in a portable package. Pair with a Gibson and you can dial in the classic tones of Thin Lizzy, Guns 'n' Roses, AC/DC. Dial it back to a clean tone with a bit of crunch and you have Hendrix Little Wing. The G12C 'Greenback' speakers in this amp are re-issues based on the original 1972 G12 Celestion speakers favoured by Hendrix and others of that era. This gives an authentic tone. These speakers are no longer produced and are sought after for the original sound.

The sound is authentic vintage Marshall without the need for separate head and cabinet. Mic it up with an SM57 and you're good to go.

This one is in practically new condition, minor spot on the handle chrome but the rest is pristine as you can see from photos. It has never been gigged or left the house and has literally been switched on only a handful of times. Unused gift that has since sat in a dry room for a few years as I play fingerstyle acoustic these days and my rocker days are behind me. Includes original Marshall footswitch with 2 modes. These retail for e1200 new, that's if you can find one anywhere, they are sought after for the authentic tone that can't be matched. If you are gigging musician this will give you the authentic sounds you are after whether on stage or recording. Asking price is commensurate with current value based on the handful I have seen available, none in this condition and at around the e800+ mark on average.
