Marshall JCM800 4211 100 watt Dual Channel Combo 1990

For sale is a classic 1990 Marshall JCM800 model 4211, 100-watt, 2x12 dual-channel valve combo amplifier.
This is a single-owner amp that has been well-cared for in a smoke-free home. It features its original factory-sourced Marshall-branded preamp tubes. The speaker complement consists of the original Celestion G12T-75 and a matching like-for-like replacement Celestion G12T-75 fitted years ago. It also includes the original matching two-button Marshall channel-switching footswitch and its original box.

Condition & Notes:

History: Has not been actively played or gigged in roughly 25 years, but has been safely stored.
Working Order: Fully tested and powers up and functions well.

Cosmetics & Hardware: Overall very clean condition for its age. However, some of the control knobs have minor wobbles, need slight straightening, or are a bit stiff/scratchy from sitting. Specifically, the bass potentiometer shaft has been very stiff, meaning one of the knobs isn't gripping the shaft quite right at the moment—minor practical issues that can easily be sorted out.

Servicing: Because it hasn't been serviced in recent years, any prospective buyer who knows vintage gear will want to take it to a tech for a routine cap check and tune-up. The gain channel also features the characteristic volume drop common to the 4211 circuit design.
