It has one of the best clean channels on a Marshall on Channel A, Channel B Crunch has 3 modes and can do alot of the classic JTM45, 1959, JCM800 and 900 tones, Channel C Lead Channel has even more gain with a Gain Boost switch and a Mid Shift Contour Switch.
